Tom joined Maclay Architects in 2008, having previously worked in other architectural firms in Vermont and Texas. Tom has been a registered architect for over 30 years and has a strong background in construction documents and construction contract administration. He has earned certification as a Construction Documents Technologist from the Construction Specifications Institute and is a LEED AP.
Tom now serves as the office's Technical Director and is involved in most projects in the office, providing support in the areas of building science, document production, quality assurance and code compliance.
Tom also has a keen interest in the environment and the outdoors, and channels this interest into helping Maclay Architects produce buildings that are sustainable, energy efficient, and considerate of their environment.
